2.1.13. Apply gain

The apply gain parameter allows you to enable or disable the direct application of true gain to the source signal.

If apply gain is enabled, true gain is used to apply gain and frequency compensation to the source signal.

If apply gain is disabled, target SPL is used to determine the frequency compensation (only) applied to the source signal.

The target SPL parameter is hidden while apply gain is enabled, since it is not used in this mode.

Apply gain is reflected in the contour visualization.
