2.1.13. Target range presets
Target range presets provide convenient loudness references. The values in parentheses specify the target distribution center and limiter peak ceiling. For example, Apple/Social/Podcast (-16, -1) sets the distribution around -16 and the limiter threshold and ceiling to -1.
Selecting a preset leaves export compensation unchanged. For a complete-file Integrated LUFS target, select Compensation: Integrated after optimization and measure the exported file. A target distribution and peak ceiling alone do not guarantee the final integrated loudness.
Currently, the following target range presets are available:
- Spotify Loud (-11, -2)
- Spotify/SoundCloud/Tidal/YouTube (-14, -1)
- Amazon Music (-14, -2)
- Deezer (-15, -1)
- Apple/Social/Podcast (-16, -1)
- Podcast (Mono) (-19, -1)
- ACX Chapter (-20.5, -3)
- EBU R128, Broadcast (-23, -1)
- ATSC A/85, US TV (-24, -2)
- Netflix (-27, -2)
