2.3.2. Limiter ceiling

The limiter ceiling parameter determines the maximum peak or true peak loudness value that the limiter will allow. When the limiter detects a peak or true peak above this value, it will pre-emptively begin to apply gain reduction to prevent clipping. Note that make-up gain is not automatically applied. If you’d like to apply make-up gain, you can use the output gain parameter.
