2.1.7. Dynamics type
The dynamics type combo-box allows you to change the dynamics algorithm type.
- Source:Target transforms from source loudness range to target loudness range
- Compression (downward) reduces the loudness of audio above threshold by ratio.
- Compression (upward) increases the loudness of sounds below threshold by ratio.
- Expansion (downward) reduces the loudness of audio below threshold by ratio.
- Expansion (upward) increases the loudness of sounds above threshold by ratio.
- Soft Limiting limits the loudness of audio above threshold.
