2.1.28. Look-ahead mode
The look-ahead mode parameter allows you to specify the look-ahead algorithm.
- OFF completely disables look-ahead
- Offset reacts to the newest sample in the look-ahead window
- Average reacts to the average of the entire look-ahead window
- Peak reacts to the newest sample in the look-ahead window (attack only)
- Floor reacts to the newest sample in the look-ahead window (release only)
The look-ahead window duration can be configured using the look-ahead parameter.
