3.6. Library Groups

Library groups are local organizational labels. Use the group selector to show All Groups, Ungrouped, one local group, or a group inside an imported shared collection.

Choose Library → Manage Groups to create, rename, reorder, or delete local groups. Deleting a group keeps its tracks and returns them to Ungrouped. Select one or more local tracks and use Move to Group to change their membership.

The Library group selector only changes what is visible in the Library. In Mix, Source independently chooses which groups can supply candidates for generation and alternative-track choices. Each Mix saves its own source, and applying a Mix Settings preset keeps that selection. See Building a Tracklist for a reusable group workflow.

Library → Import Playlist adds local audio referenced by an M3U or M3U8 file and asks which group to assign. Unchanged, successfully analyzed files reuse their analysis. Export Selected Tracks as Playlist and Export Current View as Playlist write the displayed track order to an M3U file. The current view includes its search, group, and other filters.
